army benevolent fund

Visions & Objectives

As the Army’s National Charity, the Army Benevolent Fund strives to ensure that the best possible support is available to those of the ‘Army Family’ in real need.

The ABF is continually developing the close partnership with the Regimental and Corps and other Service charities. This not only improves our efficiency and effectiveness, but also ensures that every penny counts.

The ABF is best placed and has the skills and resources to ensure that your donation or legacy is put to work where it is needed most. Our grant making policies are co-ordinated and targeted by a specialist team who make sure that help is provided to those who need it most - at the time it is needed.
The fund needs to raise sufficient money year-in-year-out to ensure that we can meet the need, not only for the present need, but for also any unforeseen need which may arise in the future.

Great Britain has an Army to be proud of. As one of the most highly trained and versatile armies in the World, it has kept us secure for hundreds of years. You can be sure that, as we enter uncertain times, our Army will be there for us. In return the ABF gives people the opportunity to repay this trust in cases of those who have fallen on hard times amd need a hand up.

By raising awareness of the Army Benevolent Fund, fundraising, attending ABF events or making a donation, either on a regional or national basis you will be making a real and lasting difference.
